Reading Room / Book Collection

The Center’s Reading Room houses a collection of over 11,000 scores, reference works, discographies, and biographical, historical, and critical works, covering every genre of American popular music, as well as books and directories related to the music industry. This collection may be searched via the online catalog of MTSU’s James E. Walker Library. 

To limit your search to materials in the Center’s Reading Room, use Walker Library’s Advanced  Search and select the Center for Popular Music as the Location  before performing your search.
