Agency history:

The ProSet Company produces trading cards in a number of fields including golf and hockey as well as several series of rock musician trading cards. These cards are packaged in sets of ten which are sold in a variety of retail outlets.

Scope and content:

This group includes trading cards from two series produced by ProSet: "Super Stars" (49 cards) and "Yo! MTV Raps" (44 cards). Each card consists of a photograph of the performer(s) backed by biographical and discographical information and occasionally a quote from the performer. The first series also includes cards of posters from two historic concerts. Neither series is complete.

The cards are organized first by series, then by the identification number assigned by the company.
