Tennessee State Songs and Anthems"Tennessee" by Vivan RorieVivian Rorie’s song was adopted as the official song of the 97th General Assembly in 1992. It became official when House Joint Resolution 744 of the 97th General Assembly was passed. Although "Tennessee" is listed as a state song, technically it is not: it is, rather, the “song of the 97th General Assembly”.
